Our beautiful apartment is situated in the heart of Lapa/ Santos, it's a very bright apartment and has been totally renovated. It is on the 1st floor of what was once one house. The living room is at the front of the apartment as you can see from the photos, it has an exquisite ceiling and doors open onto a small dining area. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which was the old chapel of the house a bathroom with a spacious shower and a fully equipped fitted kitchen that includes a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge,freezer oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine. A rear balcony overlooks a private garden belonging to the apartment below. The apartment has electric heating and freestanding fans for the summer months also internet, cable tv and a music centre.
It is situated in the Embassy area of Lisbon and although it's near to the centre it is also quiet at night allowing for a good night's sleep before exploring the city
It's is close to the Basilica and Jardim da Estrella (10 minutes walk) but also close to the River.
There are lots of restaurants ( from cheap tascas to more upmarket and everything in-between), the same goes for the bars,there are little shops, supermarkets and a newsagents. Everything you could possibly need is close by. We are also very close to the National Museum of Ancient Art ( Museu Nacional da Arte Antiga) ,among the paintings you can see a wonderful Heironymus Bosch tryptic and the Museum has a beautiful garden overlooking the river where you can have coffee and a superb chocolate and walnut gooey cake). Close by is also the Museum of Marionettes ( Museu da Marioneta) .
We have owned the apartment for 5 years and we absolutely love it, we have been living on the Algarve for over 30 years and whenever we can we like to use it ourselves. There is so much we still need to explore, it's a fascinating city and we feel extremely honored to own this gorgeous apartment in this very special neighborhood.

“Ideal base for exploring Lisbon”
The apartment was as advertised close enough to the centre of the city to be within walking distance but far enough away to be out of the hustle of city life.
“Great city break in Beautiful, Stylish Apartment”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of four in this stylish apartment full of light. We loved waking up looking at the the beautifully intricate stucco on the ceiling. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment felt warm and welcoming in late October. The kitchen is as described and we appreciated the tea, coffee, sugar etc. that you supplied. The location is within walking distance to the city centre and on our way home we could buy delicious cheese and fruits from a convenience store close by. There is also a little pastry shop just two houses away from the convenience store. And an excellent family owned restaurant specialising in beef stakes - also quite nearby. Thank you Linda and Clive for your great hospitality, and the practical advice and lots of brochures and information! We will recommend your place to our friends.

If Clive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
