“Great space in a lovely setting”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2018

We really enjoyed the house and found it to be nicer than the photos had shown. There was lots of space downstairs for everyone. It is in a wonderful setting, we walked out from the house down into Monsal Dale which was stunning.

“great location, fantastic kitchen and reception rooms to catch up with friends.”

Ellen was really helpful, enjoyed Litton very much, good carrot cake from the village shop. Bedrooms not large but beds new and comfortable. Bathrooms new and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

“Excellent family stay”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2015

Excellent family cottage, all you need is in the property. Great base for Buxton, Bakewell etc. the little village of Litton with which the property sits has a local pub but not much else. Please note children are not allowed in this pub but this was not a problem for us as the cottage has everything. Great living space downstairs, ample off street parking for 4 cars with good space for outside dining in the summer months. Would recommend!

Response from the owner Thank you - we are glad you had a great stay! For the benefit of future guests, Just thought we'd add that there are other child friendly pubs within a mile of the cottage.
