Hi,

Welcome to my listing for my first venture into renting a lovely cosy room in my home,

The room has just been completely renovated as the first stage of my future B & B home renovation,

as this was the most difficult room to do because I wanted it to be disabled friendly,

So It is on the ground floor just as you enter the house,

It is NOT YET a B & B , only the room is for rent at this time,,

although when all the renovation work is complete we will be doing a very affordable and friendly B & B, But this will be later.

The farm house itself is over 300 years old in parts and has been a working home farm until the 1980s when it discontinued to be an active farm,

access is over a loose gravel and grass path,

there are no hand rails leading to the house front door,

About the room it self,

It used to be the dining room, but now it is a cosy little bedroom, it has wi fi, please ask for password if it is not in the room,

In this delightful room there is a small double bed , comfy chair, tea making facilities, TV, hair dryer, lovely old fire place, but this is not used, the room is central heated, and there is a low wardrobe for your storage needs,

The Wet room is easily assessable from the bedroom, we have made it as disabled friendly as possible, but the room is very suitable for any one that just needs a room for 2 or more nights,

My husband and I are very friendly people, so if there is any thing we can help you with , please always feel free to ask,

Our local pub is only a stones throw from the end of the drive, and our past guest's have said they serve great food, The drive it self is a good 100 metres long ,

Why can't I call Yan (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Yan (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Yan (the owner) a message.

If Yan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
