Stabal yr Eglwys is a luxury self-catering converted barn, situated just 20 minutes from the coast, next to the 12th century church of the small village, Llanwenog. The surrounding trees (including private woodland) and wild flowers help the local wildlife thrive, resulting in plenty of birdsong. This tranquil location provides an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area by bicycle or foot. The property has a lockable outhouse for the storage of golfing, walking, angling, other outdoor equipment and up to four bicycles.

- Built using the original stone, the cottage is well insulated, with a slate roof and oil fired central heating.- Bed linen and towels provided.- Suitable for wheelchairs - downstairs bathrooms and bedrooms and large sofa in the kitchen. Only the Gallery sitting room would be inaccessible.- Electricity is charged via meter.- The yard outside the cottage was used as a local marketplace in the 19th century for the produce, livestock and wares of the village and neighbouring towns and was an important meeting place.- Opposite the yard is a private residence which used to be the 'Tynporth Inn', that served as a local pub for travellers and residents alike.- The yard has now been recently re-surfaced, giving Y Cartws and the surrounding structures a polished finish.- Laundry room: The old stone pigsty. Now completely renovated but with original features such as beams and all the stone walls. It houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horse, small chest freezer, barbecue utensils including free bag of charcoal and small badminton set. It also has ample storage space for outdoor equipment and is locked separately.

- If you wish to bring your horse on holiday, there is also a purpose built stable for one horse with concrete flooring, rubber matting and a paddock available on site. Plenty of parking for a horse trailer and a farrier nearby. Additional fee of £20 per week payable to owner on arrival.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
