South Lodge is in a elevated position looking towards Loch Ederline. It has a large bedroom with cosy sitting room with open fire, wifi, docking station and new fitted kitchen and bathroom. Walking distance to the loch where rowing boats can be hired and ospreys can be seen nesting. Perfect base to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty.

We let out this cottage from Saturday 4.00pm to Saturday 10.00am.

We are happy for short lets out of peak booking times. A minimum of three nights.

We need a £60 deposit to secure the booking with the balance paid six weeks before you arrive.

The heating for the cottage is 'Total Control' electric heating. Electricity is metered and charged at cost at the end of your stay.

You enter South lodge up a gravelled path and enter up two steps into a porch where coats and wellies can be stored. Up another two steps onto the landing where the bedroom is on the right. This is large and south facing with two windows, a super-king sized bed or two single beds with electric blankets ,wardrobe, chest of drawers and a dressing table.
To the left is the sitting room with two windows looking out towards the woods, with sofa and armchair,dress, wifi and TV. Lots of logs for the open fire. Off the sitting room is the new bathroom with under floor heating, wash hand basin, loo and large walk in shower. The fitted kitchen is also new with washing machine, microwave and all the equipment you would need. 'Total Control' electric heating throughout.

South lodge has a large log shed and ample off road parking. It has a private garden which is laid to lawn with the woodland to the back of the cottage. Garden furniture is provided. There are an abundance of walks from the cottage and only 500 yds to the shore of Loch Ederline..

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Willa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
