This is a nice Double Bedroom for 1 person in a lovely apartment in an 2 minutes walk from Hampstead Heath Park (790 acres of green space, lakes and ponds) its in a beautiful historical part of NW London called Hampstead.
The Room is a clean and with neutral decor. Fitted wardrobes in bedroom and Double Bed, clean bathroom, well equiped kitchen and separate lounge and very quite area. It is ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful or unique atmospheric experience in London, with fresh air (Hampstead Heath) a neighbourhood visibly rich in history, a cosmopolitan high street, a warm sense of community and close immediacy (15 minutes) into central London by Tube. Internet, fresh linen, towels will be provided.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is set on a one of the London most prettiest areas, it has a real European feel very close to 2 High Streets which have patisseries, traditional pubs, boutique high street shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, supermarket, an antiques market, a farmers market and late night French creperie. More importantly after a 2 minute walk you arrive at famous Hampstead Heath, 790 acres of ancient woodlands, meadows, ponds, swimming baths,a great place for walkers, joggers, picnics or relaxing. The apartment is also very close to the world famous Camden Lock famous for its vintage shops and great place to shop for gifts.
TRANSPORT
From the apartment It takes 4 minutes to walk to the Overground Station, which can take you to Central London in 20 minutes. Belisize Park Tube (Underground Train) is also close by. Visit Primrose Hill in 1 stop, Camden Town world famous market in 2 stops or arrive at London's West End in 15 minutes to the various tourist attractions.
Buses 24 and 168 to central London and Night Bus N24 are a few minutes walk from the apartment and take you to central London in 20 minutes.

Hampstead is well known for its traditional pubs, including the Holly Bush (famous for celebrities), the Spaniards Inn (established in 1585) The Flask, originally an 18th Century natural spring bottling house, The Old Bull and Bush, which was sung about by the Beatles and many more pubs.

HISTORY OF HAMPSTEAD
The Heaths inspiring wildness and the Hampstead Village community have been a natural home to many famous artists, writers, musicians, poets and thinkers including John Keats, John Constable, William Blake, Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx, George Orwell, George Bernard Shaw, James Joyce, Ian Fleming, John le Carre, Lord Bryon, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Charles Dickens, TS Elliot, Lucian Freud, Aldous Huxlley, Samual Johnson, D H Lawrence, Henry Moore, Florence Nightinghale, Richard Wollheim and H G Wells. Hampstead Village came under the London's jurdisction in the 17th century, historically people would come up to Hampstead for the fresh air and to explore the Heath as per their doctors recommendation. There was also a natural spa where people would come to bathe in the natural spring water which was said to have healing properties, to this day people still swim in the natural ponds on Hampstead Heath all year round.
