Parish Mill Holidays is a rural retreat in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley offering 2 delightful cottages to suit couples, families and small groups.

Mill Cottage is a spacious beautifully furnished 2-bedroom dog friendly country Cottage. An abundance of walks and activities to suit all ages and close to the River Severn and the magnificent Wye Valley, we are in a prime location.

The cottage is situated in the owners beautiful well-maintained gardens with several bespoke sculptures. With the added bonus of a 5 acre field to walk your dogs.

The cottage has its own enclosed garden area with table and chairs. A hot tub is available for rent at this property on prior request. Additional charge payable. Please contact us for further details.

There is a fully equipped Kitchen with everything you will need – dishwasher, fridge freezer and a coffee machine. And of course, not forgetting the little ones, we have plenty of plastic plates, cups and cutlery.

Leading from the kitchen is the dining room with a large farmhouse table with seating for 6 people.

The dining room then leads through into the Living Room with a Smart TV, large leather sofa, 2 seater sofa and a snuggle chair together with a wood burner.

There is a large ground floor bedroom with a luxurious king size bed leading into the en-suite walk in shower room.

Stairs lead up to another large open plan vaulted ceiling bedroom with twin zip and link beds (which can be made into a king-size bed on request) together with another single bed. This leads into the large bathroom area with the luxury of a roll top bath.

A complimentary basket of wood, kindling and fire lighters are provided for your first fire during the winter months (October - March). After which you can purchase logs from the local shop in Longhope or you are more than welcome to bring your own.

We offer free, reliable and fast Sky Wi-fi.

Having spent your day exploring the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, why not end your day star gazing in the Cottages private hot tub. The hot tub is for your exclusive use and can be booked in advance of your stay for an additional cost starting from £85.

We welcome 1 dog to the Cottage (by prior agreement please message me) and there is a charge of £25 for a dog per stay. We leave poo bags, water and food bowels in the entrance porch for you. If your dog has got a bit muddy whilst on your walk, then there is an outside tap for your use by the kitchen window. I will send you some information on dog friendly pubs and restaurants in the area once your booking has been confirmed.

Many of our guests return to try each in turn or come back with family and friends. Both the cottage and Lodge can be booked together.

Why can't I call Tracey (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Tracey (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tracey (the owner) a message.

If Tracey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
