You can spend your days relaxing at the fully equipped, spacious, and comfortable house. Or head home after your daytime adventures in Bohol and Panglao to sit on the firefly deck peeking over the forest and enjoy panoramic views of sunsets, the stars and with a bit of luck our resident fireflies.

No matter how you choose to spend your days, this beautiful villa has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation

Firefly Villa is a modern luxurious house that blends spaciousness with a homey, cozy vibe. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms across three tiers, there is ample room for guests to have their own spaces. And everyone can gather together for food, drinks, and chats in the fully equipped kitchen, garden patio, and ocean-facing deck.

Great for groups of friends and family members; the house is kid-friendly with plenty of spaces for them to play. We also welcome couples and solo travelers looking to have the place all to themselves!

Guest access

During your stay, you have access to the entire compound: house, decks & gardens. The Firefly Villa caretaker resides directly outside the gated entrance to the property and ensures your privacy and safety.

The house is nestled 200 meters away from Bohol’s main highway; roughly a 5-minute walk to catch a local taxi to reach nearby markets and restaurants. Yet far enough away that you don’t hear highway traffic at the house. This same highway connects you to Bohol’s unique tourist activities: Chocolate Hills (which are only brown in summer), Tarsier Sanctuary, Loboc River Cruise, The Churches, the White Sand beaches of Panglao and dolphins of Pamilacan island.

The property is 22 kilometers north of the capital city Tagbilaran, which is a roughly 30-minute commute. If you are arriving and departing from the Bohol Panglao International Airport, then it is a roughly one-hour commute.

We have a two-car garage for those traveling with their own cars. And we can help arrange rental cars, vans and drivers, and taxis during your stay. All secured at reasonable, local rates.

Arlene is our day-to-day manager who ensures that everything is in order and that you have a great stay at the villa. You can call on Arlene to arrange taxis or vans, book day tours in Bohol or Panglao, arrange catering at the house, coordinate cleaning and washing services (at a small, extra cost), answer questions, and solve problems. And you can count on her to respond quickly. Our goal is to worry about the details and take care of you and your family so you can relax and enjoy Bohol’s sights, sounds, and tastes.

Please feel free to use our library, treadmill and extensive kitchen utensils and equipment.

Smoking outside or on the balconies welcome (we have a couple of lovely locations for you to smoke from with great views and breezes).

Kids are very welcome, we have lots of play areas, lots of books and play areas. Most areas are screened and have guide ropes for safety. We have two cots that we can also set up for you and put bedding in free of charge.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Arlene (the owner) a message.

If Arlene (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
