Very Good

“Perfect villa in a perfect location”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2015

We have just returned from our holiday stay in this villa and we had a great time. This is a comfortable, well equipped and spacious quality property which we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. It is situated on a quiet residential gated complex which is approximately 10-15 minutes leisurely walk to the main shops/bars/restaurants. We are in our mid 60's and as the area is so flat we didn't have any problems getting about. You have the choice of sitting in the lovely villa garden which offers shade if you want it or if you want full on sunbathing you can use the villas large private roof sun terrace. Loved the resort and the accommodation.

“A little piece of Heaven”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2015

1 Abril is a well-appointed 3-bedroomed property. When we arrived the house was spotless, very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay, The air-conditioning was especially welcome given the August temperatures. We also liked the fact that there was a small garden, which was pleasant to sit in in the evening. The apartment complex was quiet and well-looked after with a cared-for planted area and a pool which was welcome. The local amenities are only a few minutes' walk away with a supermarket and a range of restaurants and cafes in the popular pedestrianised area of Los Alcazares. The beaches of the Mar Menor are very clean with Blue Flag awards and are ideal for families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Alan thank you so much for your review. It is much appreciated and I couldn't have done better myself.

“Best ever accommodation I've stayed in”

Good size rooms amd well equipped with aircon, wifi and great cooking facilities. Nice enclosed area for sitting outside, and roof area great for sitting in the evenings. Would definitely recommend. Super value for money. Lots to do in the area, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing etc. we hired a yatch for the day had great time sailing plenty to do and many places to eat and drink. The beaches are great and clean

“Lovely villa, very private, close to everything for a perfect s/c holiday”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2011

We stayed in this villa last year, this year, and have rebooked for next year! It is very comfortable and clean, with very private garden and roof terrace. Lovely clean, small complex, not too close to the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the main restaurant area and beautiful beaches and a short walk to 4 supermarkets. Los Alcazares has everything for the whole family, but don't expect foam parties and lots of English bars. though there are a few, and nearly all the staff during the summer speak English. Threre are a couple of nightclubs for the teenagers and many different restaurants, but not many shops, however there is a market and fun fair on every evening near the Lidl supermarket, and main day market every Tuesday . But for further retail therapy, take a bus to Cartagena or Murcia (around 3Euros each) which picks up from next to the Consum supermarket. Both cities have great shopping areas and are steeped in history. The tourist information has full details. Prepare to relax and enjoy your holiday in a safe beautiful seaside town, where the Mar Menor helps take the edge of the hot summer sunshine!
