Away from the clamour of worldliness, quiet and still authentic in the ways of life, the village of Castelsardo, perched on a rock, with its Marina, overlooking the Gulf of Asinara, halfway between Santa Teresa di Gallura and Stintino.

On clear days, very frequent in this area of Sardinia, the view can range from the island which gives its name to the Gulf, to Corsica, Capo Testa and Isola Rossa, impressive rocky concretion that rises from the Sea close to the shore that especially at dusk, turns bright red for the particular granite which is formed.

It is here that visitors will find one of the most popular beaches for water clarity and the clear bottom and Sandy but also, for those who prefer it, Rocky.

In forty minutes by car you can easily reach Stintino, northwestern tip of Sardinia, with la Pelosa Beach consisting of white sand, lapped by a sea of colors.

In the old town of Castelsardo is easy to run into glitzy showcases that display beautiful red coral jewelry.
