From the owner

Fawn House is a peaceful and secluded country house just a few minutes drive from the beach and the beautiful fishing village of Luarca. Built in the early 1900’s, the house is a fine example of a ‘Casa Indiana’. Constructed in local stone with balconies and a large gallery overlooking the valley and the river Esva. Over the last few years the owners have carefully restored the property, maintaining the original wooden flooring and staircase, whilst adding a large modern open kitchen and bathrooms.

Located in the small village of Bahinas, Valdés, the house is a 5 minute drive from the market town Trevias, and 15 minutes from the beautiful seaside town of Luarca. Playa de Cueva, the nearest beach is 5 kilometres and a short 10 minute drive away. For walkers, the house is an ideal base for exploring the Esva Valley, or for enjoying coastal walks such as Cabo de Busto.

The house is secluded but at the same time well connected, the Oviedo Airport is a only a 30 minute drive away.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If Simeon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
