This spacious apartment (one of 4) is great for a family or friends holidaying together. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in beautiful scenery and access to great italian food this place would be ideal for you.All apartments have a private entrance on separate sides of the complex giving a sense of privacy .You have access to a main swimming pool (open from Apr to Oct) and immaculately kept gardens with, lawns, sun-beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. There is also a barbecue!

Included in price: All household linen per week, Wi-Fi, electricity, hot water, gas for cooking,1 eventual baby-cot on request, parking.

Not included: Heating calculated on consumption, Sojourn Tax: 2 euro per person per night for maximum of 7 nights and only for people over 14 years.

At check-in (but not a cost) a security guarantee in cash which is returned to you at end of stay: Euro 200

Villa il Castellaccio is near the village of Lucolena (1,5 Km) where you can find grocery store and Pizzeria. Also in Dudda (1,5/2 Km) grocery store and restaurant. In Greve in Chianti (8 km) all shops and supermarket. In Filgine Valdarno (8 Km) you can find also the train station to go in the center of Florence in just 25 minutes (!!!).We are within easy commuting distance for the most famous towns in Tuscany: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Arezzo. We are also in heart of the Chianti area with it's many medieval towns, castles and vineyards: Greve, Radda, Gaiole and Castellina to name but a few, but after a day out sight seeing it's nice to get back to the relaxing friendly atmosphere of Villa il Castellaccio.... and a dip in the pool!At Villa il Castellaccio we organize Day Tour with our driver speaking English in different place: Chianti Wine Tour, Venezia, Roma, Cinque Terre, Siena and San Gimignano...The driver arrive directly at your apartment for the pick up and drive for you all day, he can help you for information and suggestions (restaurant and shops). For you just relax and not problem for directions and parking!We organize wine tasting in our cellar and dinner and cooking lessons directly in your apartments! If you wish we organize also walking tour in Florence with a official guideThe whole of the Chianti area is stunningly beautiful in all seasons with “Botticelli” flowers in the Spring , glorious golden Vineyards in the Autumn (both seasons fairly warm) .The summers are hot of course ,but because of the gently rolling hills covered in aromatic Mediterranean forests (oh how you will miss those cypress trees when you go home!) it is refreshing to return to after sightseeing in the cities.The Chianti area is full of things to discover. Meandering along its beautiful panoramic roads (a pleasure in itself) you come across medieval towns: Greve, Radda, Gaiole, Castellina with castles, Etruscan tombs, museums, cellars to go wine-tasting, eating places for local specialities, local arts & crafts, wildlife parks(great for kids)

The property is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves great for rambling.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Leonardo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
