If you wish to go out of Ludlow for the day, you can visit the National Trust property Croft Castle. The Victorian town, Ironbridge, isn't far and you can also visit Hay-on -Wye, the famous Town of Books. Shrewsbury is also a popular tourist resort and the Shropshire towns
