Casa Rosa is a charming Portuguese cottage, with air-conditioning and a private pool in a very special location. This beautiful Cottage is in Pinheiro, which is on the Ria Formosa Nature reserve, a rare, secluded and unspoilt spot in the Eastern Algarve. The nature reserve boasts many rare varieties of birdlife and plants.

Here you will find them in your garden! Waking up to the sound of the sea and birds chirping in the trees of this special part of the Eastern Algarve, many of our guests do not wish to leave and return time and time again to Casa Rosa. A short stroll away brings you to a walkway and cycle route on the lagoons edge, leading you west along the salt pans and to Fuseta and East towards the stunning beach of Barril. Along the lagoons edge a short walk from Casa Rosa is a fabulous fish and seafood Restaurant, « Fialho », which is very family friendly and a joy to eat there at all times of the year… All of this right on your doorstep. It is a birdwatchers paradise and a family’s perfect holiday break, away from it all. From Casa Rosa you will be in easy reach of plenty of beaches and towns along the Eastern Algarve : Olhão, the second biggest fishing port in Portugal and the lovely old town of Tavira. All within a short drive from Casa Rosa...

Casa Rosa is a charming, well equipped 3 bedroom house, recently renovated with air conditioning throughout and a newly tiled pool. The lounge has comfortable leather sofas, plenty of books, TV , DVD and WiFi Internet connection. An open fire and central heating for cosy nights, during the cooler months. As the fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, the other members of the family can sit and have a drink and chat with with the head-cook. The kitchen has every utensil you may need and a dishwasher, making self catering as simple as possible! We also have cool boxes and parasols for those lazy days on the beach , a barbecue for those never to forget holiday moments with the family. Hairdryers for when you do tear yourself away from the beauty and tranquility of Casa Rosa. If there is anything that may have been overlooked, our friendly team is only a phone call away, to help.

Casa Rosa has an air-conditioned double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a family bathroom, with bath and shower over the bath, a further air-conditioned double bedroom and an air-conditioned twin bedroom. Ideal for families, couples and friends sharing.

The outside space at Casa Rosa is where undoubtedly you will spend most of your time! Double glass doors lead you out from the dining area to the breakfast terrace and pergola with the garden area for the children to play in. A small slope leads you up to the swimming pool area, which has natural shade from the surrounding trees. We are sure there will be a lot of fun had here…

Facing South is a very large terrace, with stunning views over the lagoon, Island beaches and sea. At night the moon and the stars reflect off the sea.

We do hope we have thought of everything to make holidaying here as enjoyable as possible!

Why can't I call Cedric (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cedric (the owner) a message.

If Cedric (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
