This Charming semi-detached thatched cottage built in the 1600s and listed as a Grade II building was originally 2 cottages. Situated in Emery Down, 5 mins walk from Lyndhurst with its variety of shops and restaurants. Idyllic setting with direct access to the forest, overlooks Swan Green where ponies and deer graze. Beautifully original beamed spacious double living room with inglenook fireplace, dining area with oak table.

Two staircases lead upstairs to good-sized cottage bedrooms with individual access : 2 double bedrooms plus 1 twin bedroom all with quaint sloping roofs. Television room with double sofa bed, television, DVD . Bathroom with bath and overbath shower, toilet and sink. Spacious shower room with sink, toilet and bidet. Free wifi. Front and large enclosed back garden. Private parking for 2 cars.

Coffee and specialist teas are provided for guests as well as all linen and cleaning products.

Country pub just a stroll across the road, another over the hill.

Cottage is tastefully furnished with a variety of antiques, but with all the advantages of modern amenities. Electric shower in spacious shower room. High speed Wifi. Child gate can be fitted to one staircase. Large cot available, but guests are requested to bring their own cot sheets/blankets.
