A hidden paradise in the heart of the Barossa, with everything you need for a peaceful family-friendly getaway. It is the perfect home base for exploring the Barossa Valley and making the most of your stay, whether you're an outdoors type, a wine connoisseur or just simply here to unwind. Then spend your evenings looking out onto its private vineyard and drinking in the sights and smells of nature at your doorstep, or cozy up by the log fire with a glass of wine and the vinyls spinning...

Breakfast pack is supplied for your first morning including milk.

Picture a rustic-style farmhouse, complete with solid red bricks, wide windows and wooden fixtures throughout - but with a newly refurbished contemporary bathroom and full air-conditioning for a touch of modern luxury.

Upon arrival you may enter through the laundry, or take the scenic route via the garden, vineyard and terrace courtyard to enter into the kitchen area, which is equipped with a dishwasher and brand-new induction stovetop, and soaks up the sun all day long through its French doors and windows.

The open-plan dining room and living area is fitted out with top of the range furnishings, beautiful, locally hand-painted artwork, a Smart TV and a log fire for your enjoyment in winter. This room has a stunning outlook through wide, East-facing windows onto the back garden, vineyards and beyond - perfect for admiring the rolling hills of the Valley or even some rabbit-spotting!

Just across the hall from here is the secondary lounge room, with cupboards stocked with boardgames, books, DVDs and CDs for every taste. There is also another small TV, and Casa Rossa's hidden gem - our record player, and stacks upon stacks of classic vinyls, from Little River Band to Fleetwood Mac to INXS.

Along the rest of the hallway is the newly renovated bathroom (with bathtub), and the three bedrooms. The master bedroom with queen bed shares the living area's breathtaking views and is warmed and lit by the sun all day long. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and the third contains two singles. All bedrooms are equipped with storage units for your clothes and other belongings.

Make sure you make the most of the outdoor dining and terrace area, accessed via the kitchen! Fitted out with a BBQ and rustic stone outdoor furnishings, and looking out onto Casa Rossa's stunning private vista, it is the perfect spot to entertain, unwind and drink in the beauty that is the Barossa.

The house has reverse cycle air conditioning throughout, so no matter what time of year you visit you are sure to be comfortable. There is space for two cars along the driveway beside the vineyard, and a third spot should you need it near the garage off the main drive onto the property.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Casa Rossa. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The little touches - wine and breakfast supplies was most appreciated.

A well appointed and roomy house in a very central location when visiting the Barossa private on a large block with views over a small vineyard that attracted Kangaroos in the afternoon.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Maria (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
