From the owner

This home is a light filled happy home. The open plan lounge, dining kitchen all have large windows facing east to catch the beautiful sunshine in the cooler months. The home is set on half acre of sloping gardens. The birdlife here come to get fed every day including kookaburras and parrots. The house is on the edge of the village of Macclesfield which has two pubs. The Three Brothers Arms has live Blues music every Friday night, and excellent food. We are also in the heart of Adelaide Hills Wine Country and 20 mins from Langhorne Creek wine district and 40 mins from McLaren Vale. I also run a tour company so you might like to book a cellar door tour with me. Your room would be on the ground floor of my home. There is another bedroom across from you which sometimes has my housemate in it. Your bathroom is just metres away from your room. My room and bathroom are upstairs. Check In and out is flexible.

I am always too happy to meet my guests. However if you require privacy, I can leave you by. Please remember though that I do live in my home, of which I'm giving you a downstairs bedroom and (sometimes) shared bathroom of which my housemate has use of too.He is often not here, but naturally I keep the room for him.

Comfortable and peaceful accommodation with high quality bedding and linen. Jeanne is her natural self - no airs and frills. Gorgeous native and organic garden. We would stay there again for sure.

Our hostess was wonderful! She showed us a wonderful pub and whet our appetite for a return visit. Sparky loved it too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jeanne (the owner) a message.

If Jeanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
