NEWLY REMODELED with expansive deck, fireplace, newly installed high speed internet and Wi-Fi, new kitchen and kid's play area and game room! This home sleeps 8 people with one king bedroom upstairs and a full bath, an additional king suite with master bathroom and a game room with two twin bunks and a queen pullout sofa downstairs. From the two open decks, or from the four person hot tub, the views are amazing as well. The newly redesigned kitchen allows for an open floor plan. Early morning is the time to enjoy coffee in the sun-room with floor to ceiling windows, just off the master bedroom overlooking the newly expanded lower deck and beautiful mountains. This is no doubt, a great mountain hideaway. Newly installed gas fireplace rounds out this wonderful property.

Just a 20 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle, as featured on History Channels “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In less than 25 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

This cabin is a 25 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee (even if you do not gamble it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).

A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery, several micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.

Approximately, 60 minutes away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are 1 hour 30 minutes to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).

Access is moderate on gravel mountain road. We do experience inclement weather in this region, seasonally, all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive may be needed for access in late fall and possibly tire chains during winter.
