Escape to a peaceful single-family home in the Smoky Mountains of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. This home has it all: views, trees, a stream, a small waterfall, privacy, easy access, and conveniently located one and a half miles from the Cataloochee ski area. Awaken to the sounds of a rushing stream or sit in rocking chairs on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee while enjoying the sounds of the waterfall and birds. This four-bedroom, three full bathroom home has the following amenities: a fully equipped kitchen with premium stainless steel appliances. Side by side refrigerator with automatic ice maker, ice/water dispenser, glass top self-cleaning electric range, quiet dishwasher, microwave, programmable coffeemaker, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, gas barbecue grill, park-style charcoal grill, picnic table, covered outdoor deck-bar and barstools, all cookware and utensils supplied for the gourmet kitchen with upgraded cabinets and granite countertops. The kitchen is also supplied with several small appliances such as a blender, mixer, bread machine, popcorn maker, waffle maker, crockpot, and an electric skillet, to name a few. The upper level of this home features hardwood floors and two bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed and a 42" flat-screen TV and an electric heater fireplace, bedroom #2 has a queen-size bed. There are two full bathrooms on the upper level with the en suite bathroom having dual shower heads, one is a rain head. Upstairs there is a gas fireplace and a 55" flat-screen TV in the living room. A dining table seats six-eight (extra 2 chairs in the Alpine room closet) with a kitchen high top island bar, seating four people. The laundry room has a water-saving LG front load washer and energy-saving front load dryer. The downstairs features 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom with bedroom #3 having a twin over full bunk bed and an additional twin bed. Bedroom #4 has a King size bed. The downstairs living area has 2 reclining sofa's (4 recline seats) to sit back, relax and watch your favorite show or DVD on a 55" flat-screen TV after a busy day in the mountains. The lower level includes a second refrigerator, a wine cooler, and a wet bar, with a coffeemaker, microwave, and fully tiled floors. There is an electric heater fireplace downstairs. For your evening enjoyment, sit by the fire pit on custom made outdoor furniture or take in the view of the stars from the hot tub or porch swing. Enjoy a game of darts on the electric dartboard, corn hole, foosball, or horseshoes. There is a second small fire pit next to the creek. Enjoy a seat next to the creek on 3 split-log bench seats. This home has a one-car garage. Limited wireless internet is included. Central air/heat. Linens, towels, hot tub towels, dishes, cookware, and utensils are provided. A port-a-crib and high chair are available. Our home is packed with amenities for a vacation to remember. In the winter, a four-wheel drive is suggested due to the unpredictability of the weather. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Kevin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
