From the owner

Lovely upstairs guest house apartment overlooking Paradise Cove in Malibu. Spend your morning looking out over the Santa Monica Bay while you have coffee on your private balcony. Then decide if you want to go visit any of the museums, schools or adventure parks L.A. has to offer, or just hop in your car for a two minute drive to one of Malibu's many famous beaches. In addition to the beach, there are many nice (and some not so nice- they're tough!) hiking trails within walking distance.

The guest house has one lovely bedroom, which looks out over the bay. It has a California King sized bed with luxury bedding and linens. It has french doors opening to the balcony overlooking the ocean.

The living room has two large comfortable couches which make comfortable beds when the top pillows are removed. There is a flat screen TV with cable channels, and an Apple TV box which allows rental of movies or other on your Apple account. Also has french doors opening onto the balcony.

The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you to create as many nice meals as you care to, or go out to one of Malibu's (or L.A.'s) many fine restaurants if that is your choice. Full sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, granite counters.

The bathroom has a shower/tub and is nicely appointed with granite counters and stone tile.

We provide some beach toys (boogie boards (2) , volleyball, umbrella, cooler, beach chairs (2) for your convenience, and have hiking maps and listings for horseback riding stables, and surf lessons in order that your stay here is comfortable and fun.

As the name suggests, we had already from the bedroom to look at the Sunrise and the Ocean. From the balcony anyway. The house even has two balconies. Everything you could need. Top equipped kitchen and washing machines use at home. Private parking at the house. Vermiter super nice and take care of everything on different occasions. We would immediately go back down. Just a side note to prospective visitors...While someone might call our location "in the mountains" (especially if you hail from a really flat spot), we are actually on a small hillside a few blocks from the beach. I think we are approx 100 feet above sea level.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jennifer (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
