This pad is part of a block of 14, with a mix of two bedroom apartments and studios. We love having a whole building to ourselves, as we can accommodate larger groups occupying a whole floor, or keep an area of the building quieter for business travellers and families.

For larger groups who want to share a floor please also take a look at apartment 8 and 9.

The apartments are brand new and we have created a space we know you will love, whatever your travelling needs.

The main entrance has security codes for access - every guest will be given them in advance of their stay.

As hosts we will give you the space you need to enjoy your trip. That said, we are always on-hand before you visit or during your stay.

We have a team waiting in the wings to make every aspect of your visit comfortable, as we want all guests to love the city as much as we do. Just get in touch with a member of our Guest Relations team, if you have any questions.

Location description from owner

The England region

The apartment is a 14 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station and an 8 minute walk from Manchester Victoria, although the Northern Quarter has some smaller winding streets, so we would recommend you bobbing the postcode into your phone on route, or jumping in a cab until you become more familiar with the area. If you set off on foot and need to ask anyone for help, we are on Edge Street opposite Yard and Coop and Ziferblat in the Northern Quarter.

Manchester

This apartment is on one of the coolest streets in the vibrant and exciting community that is the Northern Quarter.

The Northern Quarter is famed for its independent shops and boutiques, where you can pick up designer or retro clothes, rare vinyl’s, collectable comics, unusual furniture and superb art. Today it is equally famed for its social scene, with the beautiful restaurants, cool bars, quirky coffee shops and city spas, pulling many young professionals to live in the beautiful old buildings that line the streets.

The joy of the Northern Quarter is that it provides a central base to explore the whole of the city and beyond.

You will find lots of shops and the central hub of shopping in the Arndale centre. Or if you are after something a bit more unconventional, check out Afflecks Palace an “emporium of eclecticism” which is a 5 minute walk away. For designer shops head to Selfridges, Harvey Nichols or Spinningfields.

Here are a few of our favourite places in the city -

To eat and drink

- Cottonopolis - A cool Asian inspired restaurant and bar

- Tariff and Dale - Cool and chilled bar upstairs and yummy restaurant downstairs

- Turtle Bay - A Caribbean restaurant with amazing vibes and equally amazing food

- Rosylee's - A great chilled bar (that does amazing afternoon tea and drinks)

- Evelyn's Cafe & Bar – Chic surroundings with sophisticated Asian inspired food, serving breakfast lunch or dinner all with big bold flavours

- Home Sweet Home – Are you looking for breakfast, brunches, cakes and lunches with comfort food that will make you drool

Coffee

- Foundation Coffee House – The design-led interiors of this coffee house creates a great space for a quick bite or caffeine fix

- Takk – Considered a café and creative space that pays homage to all things Scandinavian, it’s people and their love for the coffee bean

Supermarkets

Or if you would prefer to eat in, you can stock up at one of the local supermarkets, with a Tesco express and a Co-op a 4 minute walk away on Church Street. Or you could pop in to the Arndale after some shopping at the very popular Market Street.

New to Oxford Road is the exciting culture centre “Home”. A short 10 minute cab ride, or if the weather is nice a 17 minute walk. Here you can catch a film, see a play and look at the exhibitions. If it’s a rainy day there is a large cinema complex in the Printworks just a 5 minute walk away.

If you need a place to work or fancy something a bit different, then check out Ziferblat, just opposite from the apartment. Here you simply pay for your time and help yourself to all the treats you can eat and the tea (or coffee) is on tap.
