Ideally situated in the heart of the Black Perigord, the house Les Chardonnerets allows easy access to the main tourist sites of the area. The medieval market town of Sarlat, the pretty villages of Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme, Belvès, the Vezere valley... are all within a radius of 25kms. There are several footpaths and bike trails leading from the hamlet In Beynac you will find small essential shops: bakery, butchers and small supermarket. Larger shops and a great weekly market can be found at St Cyprien (8km) or Sarlat (14km). The Dordogne river is just 5 minutes away, where you can take a boat trip on the traditional "gabarres" or hire a canoe.
