Manchester is the nearest airport with car hire and taxi facilities.
By train
Macclesfield is the most convenient station with a taxi rank. Crewe station is about 45 mins away and has a taxi rank. Congleton station is the closest but no 24 hour taxi rank.
By car
From the M6 it is best to leave at J17 Sandbach following signposts for Congleton. Once in Congleton follow signposts for Macclesfield A536 to the village of Eaton. On leaving Eaton there is a sharp left hand bend take the turn right immediately after the bend sign posted North Rode. After about 1 mile you will see North Rode church. Turn left between the church and the childrens nursery. The cottage is the first drive on the right. The gates will open automatically.

Getting around
To get into Manchester there are trains normally every 20 minutes from Macclesfield. The inter city trains take just 20 mins. There are bus stops for buses to Congleton, Crewe and Macclesfield. The bus stop is about 10 mins walk.
