On the south coast of England, just over a hour and a half by car from London, the Isle of Wight has excellent transport connections. Car Ferries run very regularly from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington, though the closest to the property is from Portsmouth arriving at Fishbourne on the Island (see www.WightLink.co.uk). From there head for Ryde on the A3054 and then Nettlestone on the B3330. Arriving in Nettelstone (after about 20 minutes from the car ferry) you will see a small village green and we are the large stone house at the end of the green. Foot passengers can arrive directly in Ryde by Hovercraft or Catarmaran and it is then 7 minites by taxi to the property.
