Getting around
Corfe Castle is one and a half miles away, where there is a good, well stocked village shop and a number of excellent pubs for food: The Greyhound overlooks the castle from its gardens, and the Banks Arms, Castle Inn and the Fox all serve good food with good garden areas. In Corfe there is also the famous Purbeck Steam Railway station for rides from Corfe to Wareham and the seaside town and beaches at Swanage. A perfect starting point for you to follow in the foot steps of a "Famous Five" Enid Blyton adventure.
