How to get there

Arriving in to either Alicante or Valencia airports the drive to Denia will take approximately 60 minutes and there are plenty of car hire companies at both airports - our favourite is Centauro Car Hire and we book in advance of our arrival.

Many budget airlines fly in to Alicante or Valencia, but if possible book for Alicante as there's more options and it's slightly closer to Denia. From Alicante or Valencia join the main motorway and exit at Junction 62 for Denia. A small exit toll charge is payable at this point.

From Junction 62 it's just a few minutes in to Denia, so head for the port and travel North for a short distance, until you see the restaurant 'Fernando' on your right, where you need to turn left and the second complex on the left is the Elegance development, where you can drive in and park right next to the lift that will take you to the penthouse apartment. (our local agent will point you in the right direction when you meet to get the keys!)

Alternatively, you can take a more leisurely route avoiding the motorway and hug the coastline, from either direction. (we always use the motorway, so we've more time to relax when we get to the apartment)

From either airport there are taxis available, but check the price first to make sure it's acceptable and from either Alicante or Valencia there are buses and trains that will take you to Denia.

Directions from Alicante and Valencia Airports

When you leave the airport in Alicante, please follow the signs AP-7 Valencia. When you are on the motorway, just follow until you automatically come to the toll and there automatically to the AP-7. This is quicker and cheaper than following the signs AP-7 earlier.

When you leave the airport in Valencia, please follow the signs A-7/AP-7 Alicante. Approx. 20 km after Valencia you have to follow the signs AP-7 Alicante NOT A-7 Alicante Interior. The A-7 goes inland.

The AP-7 is a motorway you have to pay for. It is +/- 7,50 EUR and you can pay in cash or with credit card.

When you are in Denia (Salida = exit 62 Denia-Ondara-Javea), please go direction Denia (straight on). You pass some roundabouts. When you come to the 5th roundabout where the petrol station REPSOL is on your left (in front of you, you see a SCODA), please go to the left (of SCODA) and directly again to the left (before the bank CAM). The name of the street is "Abu-Zeyan. When you come to the next roundabout take the second street = Avenida de Miguel Hernandez. Follow until the end. There is another roundabout. There go to the left (Las Marinas / Consolat del Mar). The sea and beach is on your right handside. After 100 m you come to a traffic light and the Restaurant Fernando. There go to the left again (C/ Assagador de la Marjal). There is as well a sign "Hotel Daniya". The entrance to the parking of Elegance is between the two white buildings on the left.
