By car, follow the E45 Bologna-Rome Superstrada 3bis, and exit at Città di Castello sud or Promano and continue to Trestina.
Please ring me from Trestina (or Morra, if you are coming over the mountains from Castiglion Fiorentino). I will meet you in Pino.

From Trestina, take the road to Morra, turn left after 3.5km at Bivio Lugnano and follow the signs to Lugnano. (From Castiglion Fiorentino head for Trestina (via Morra) and at Bivio Lugnano turn right for Lugnano).

At Lugnano follow sign for PIno (3.3km) continuing up past the sign for Capegliano another 700m to Pino. I will normally meet you there.

At Pino, the road bears right at the first house on the left with the green gates. The track for Carpina is the first track to the left,directly behind this house, It has a black US mail box 50m on on the left. (If you reach the end of the tarmac (strada nera) you have gone 150m too far. Turn around. The track for Carpina is 150m along on the right just before the road bears right).

Follow the track down past the mailbox for 900m, takie the right hand fork and the chalet is on your left, just before the house.

By train from Roma change at Perugia Ponte San Giovanni for an Umbria tren for San Sepulcro. Exit at Trestina.
From Florence take the train to Arezzo, bus to Città di Castello, then train or bus to Trestina. or you can arrange that I somebody meets you at Arezzo or Città di Castello.

By bus, change at Città di Castello for local bus or Umbria tren to Trestina. I will meet you there.
