Getting around
The main line train from Porthmadog is a great way to see the coast line, hugging the coastline through to Aberystwyth, calling at Barmouth and Machynlleth... a really lovely trip to do. The train starts at Pwllheli calling at Criccieth. Also the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways are well worth a trip on. Lots of lovely walks too. To get around further a field a car is advisable.
