How to get there
Kalkan's nearest airport is Dalaman (1.5 hrs away) then Antalya (3 hrs away) Dalaman is served by a number of charter low cost airline operators. Airlines summer flight schedules typically start at the end of March, and finish in the middle of November. We have found that the best source for all flights is www skyscanner net. If you prefer to look at individual airlines, then the most popular choices are generally Thomson, Easyjet, Jet 2,Wizzair and Pegasus. Out of season, and also when flight prices are at their height, it is sometimes worth looking at flying to Dalaman/Antalya via Istanbul (there are scheduled flights to both Dalaman and Antalya from Istanbul every day of the year.

Getting around
We usually advise guests to hire cars here,but we also have a great neighbour that offers his services and will take families and friends out on trips in his large minibus . The prices are cheaper than taxis and it is a little more personal and your group is free to enjoy a drink or 2 whithout worrying about driving. From Kalkan there are dolmus's which go from the main bus station to many locations locally.
