From Rome: take the A1 motorway towards Florence and follow it until you reach the exit "Ponzano Romano-Soratte", 14 Km North of Rome. After the toll follow always the signs to Poggio Mirteto. After about 3-4 km the road ends in a T-crossing onto 313 (Ternana Road). At right is shown Poggio Mirteto, you instead turn left (direction Terni, Calicut). Take the 313 for about a mile, then turn right and follow the indication "s. Luigi-Galantine"; immediately after turn right (signposted "Saint Louis") on a winding road and uphill, and walk until you see the urban center of St Louis, then a White House on the right along the road, and then a mirror (those used in tight turns to see who is on the other side); immediately after the mirror the road bends to the left, instead you go straight following a smaller road (called via Paine). Go all the way, ignoring the various tiny alleyways that branch off, until incontrerte a X-shaped crossroads: straight ahead of you there is our gate.
