How to get there
From Bath take the A36 toward Warminster, then after about 3 miles you cross a Viaduct over the canal, then up a long hill, at the top pass the first sign for Freshford, keep on till you see signs for Homewood Park Hotel and Sharpstone. Turn left here into Abbey Lane.
At the bottom of a short hill the lane bends sharply to the left, turn right here down Rosemary Lane and you will find Abbotsleigh Cottage on the left just after a lane joins from the left.

Getting around
Freshford has it's very own railway station with trains into Bath a 10min ride and running roughly every hour. It's easy to get to Oxford & London via the train. In the other direction they go to the south coast. There is also a local bus that stop at the top of the lane. Taxi's are easy to arrange a to and from Bath
