There are 2 options to get to Montenegro; 1. Fly to Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia 2. Fly to Tivat Airport in Montenegro
If you hire a car from Dubrovnik airport, tell the staff you are taking the car to Montenegro. You must drive with the lights ON at all times, even during the day.
The journey from either airport will take about 40 minutes. Please note that Euro is the main currency of Montenegro, but in Croatia you can only pay in their local currency - Kuna. We recommend you use a credit/debit card to make any purchases in Croatia, including fuel.
