How to get there
Chalet Melchior is located in Domaine de la Residence, the most exclusive area of Villars. Hiking/snowshoeing trails go into the mountains from the back door. It is also possible to ski from the back door 5 minutes to the main Roc DOrsay telecabine. Chalet Melchior has beautiful, professionally landscaped gardens with a stream running the length of the property.

Getting around
Chalet Melchior is very private yet close to the centre of Villars village where there are restaurants, bars and shops.If travelling by train, there is a rail service direct from Geneva Airport to Aigle (a 20 minute journey by car/taxi to the Chalet) to the next stop Bex where you can change and take the mountain train direct to Villars. Villars is approx 75 minutes from Geneva by motorway and a regular train service connects Geneva airport to Bex or Aigle nearby. The chalet is 5mins drive from the train station. All the major car rental firms are situated at Geneva, Basel and Zurich Airports.
