Schwerin (bei Teupitz) ist nur eine Wegestunde von der Metropole Berlin und von der Brandenburgischen Landeshauptstadt Potsdam mit seinem vielfältigen Kultur- und Kunstleben entfernt und sehr gut zu erreichen. Es besteht eine sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung an die Autobahn A13, den Bus und die Regionalbahn, Bahnhof Groß Köris. Zum Flughafen Berlin-Brandenburg (BER), nach Königs Wusterhausen oder in den Spreewald benötigt man nur etwa 30 min.
