How to get there
It is easy by road or rail. the trains from birmingham and beyond arrive in borth about every 2 hours and the station is about half a mile along a strainght flat pavement.
We recently visited Harlech castle by train from Machynlleth (where the trains split) - an absolutely stunning train journey along the Cambrian coast.
There are also a couple of taxi companies that are easy to hire.

Getting around
There is good bus service from just outside the house to Aberystwyth (nearest big town) and Ynyslas dunes in the North. The train station linking Borth to every where is just a 10 minute walk down the beach or street as you prefer and if you don't wish to drive there are a couple of taxi firms in the village.
