Skiathos island has an airport and a port. During the summer charter flights come in on a regular basis from many European countries. From the UK there are flights from various cities.
If one should come from the mainland, there are ferries and hydrofoils to catch from Agios Konstantinos and Volos. There are domestic airline services available from Athens, Thessaloniki and Volos.
