The Tip of Borneo area is undeveloped and only just beginning to be discovered by tourists, which is one of the reasons it is so special! We always recommend our guests to have their own vehicle to give maximum flexibility for exploring the area etc. although often guests just want to relax and explore on foot and consequently no car is required.

It’s about a 3 hours’ drive to reach us from Kota Kinabalu. We can recommend car rental companies and can also organise transfers for you.

Alternatively, to reach us, you can take a shared taxi from Bandaran Berjaya, Kota Kinabalu to Kudat (approx. MYR 35 per person) followed by a private taxi from Kudat town to the Tip of Borneo (approx. MYR 80). Finally, there are flights from Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan to Kudat Airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, returning to Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan on the same days.
