How to get there
Zinkwazi Beach is 10km from the N2 National road which runs the length of the east coast of South Africa. Please expect to pay tolls - there are two toll stations between the King Shaka International airport near Ballito, south of Zinkwazi. Directions from the airport are good and it takes 45 minutes on a very good freeway to reach Zinkwazi.
From the north one would travel down from Eswatini or Mozambique passing Hluhluwe, Empangeni and Mtunzini.
Once in the village, follow Nkwazi drive until Sandy Cove. Turn left into Sandy Cove which becomes Magai. Pass the Anew Hotel. 21 Magai - is on your left, 2 doors thereafter. Ring the door bell and Axon will greet you on arrival.

Getting around
Zinkwazi is so small one is able to walk around the village. Recently a new taxi service is offering to transfers to Ballito or the airport at a reasonable rate. To travel further afield we suggest you hire a car on arrival in Kzn. The National parks of Hluhluwe, Umfolosi and St Lucia are well worth a visit. Good sightings of animals are reported. Birding in the coastal area is excellent and cycling, water sports and hiking are very popular
