How to get there
From Germany (Munich): E54 as far as Kiefersfelden/Kufstein, 2nd exit after the border (Kufstein Süd - no motorway toll sticker required!). From Kufstein follow the signs "Felbertauernstraße" (safe in winter). Via the "Felbertauernstraße" to East Tirol.
From Switzerland: A14 via Feldkirch / Bludenz / Arlberg, A12 via Innsbruck as far as the exit "Wörgl Ost". Follow the signs "Felbertauernstraße". Via Kitzbühel and Mittersill to East Tirol.
From Vienna: A2 to Klagenfurt, Villach (A 10), Spittal (B 100), East Tirol.
From Salzburg: Salzburg (A10), Spittal junction, East Tirol OR Salzburg (A10), Lofer/Zell am See (B312/311), B168 to Mittersill, "Felbertauernstraße", East Tirol.

You will discover nearly endless possibilities for hiking and climbing as well as mountain-biking! If you like it relaxter, the "Tristacher" lake near Lienz invites you to bathe directly at the foot of the dolomites of Lienz. Trust me, ist is really beautiful there! Lienz itself is a very picturesque little city with numerous nice shops,and restaurants. In Lienz you can also enjoy the summer sledging track especially loved by youngsters! Don´t forget to visit South-Tyrol with picturesque little cities like Bozen!
