From the airport, take the highway towards Ribeira Brava where you will arrive in about 20 minutes. In the last tunnel before arriving at Ribeira Brava, keep right out towards Ribeira Brava (VR1 output).

After round the roundabout, take the road ahead. Follow towards the sea, past a furniture shop to the left and a small tunnel. Continue along the river, until you reach a roundabout. Then turn right and enter a tunnel which will end in another roundabout. Around it and re-enter another tunnel.

 Continue until you reach the roundabout in the village of Ponta do Sol, which has a fountain in the center. Around the roundabout and enter another tunnel that will leave another roundabout and go through Madalena do Mar village by the sea. P
