1911, country retreat is situated in the mainland right opposite of Poros island and is accessible either by car ( rental or taxi)directly from the airport, or by boat to Poros and then taxi boat to cross over to the mainland. At 1911, country retreat everything is walking distance, accommodation, food, swimming pool and jacuzzi all in one! Ideal for families with kids ( very protected area)!

By Sea: You have to book your flight to Athens. From the airport there is bus ( airport express Line X96) that takes straight to the port of Piraeus Cost: Three (3) Euro per person. Regular departures every 15 minutes. At the port of Piraeus there are regular daily hydrofoil boats called "Flying Dolphins" The trip to Poros is only one hour and the cost is twenty five (25) Euro per person. Children under 10 years old pay half price. Children under 4 years travel for free! After your arrival in Poros if you stay at Drepani Resort you need to take a little taxi boat to cross the channel and get to Galatas in the mainland. You find the little boats next to the hydrofoils. In Galatas you need to take a normal taxi to bring you in our Resort, we are only 4 kilometres away.

By land: Again you book your flight to Athens. From the airport you take the ATTICA ROAD towards Korinth/ Eleusina.You pass the first Toll Station and continue with direction Epidaurus. You take the EXIT B' for Epidaurus and the road leads you to the left with direction Methana, Galatas, Poros. Ten kilometres after the village Kalloni you arrive to Galatas. As you enter to the village of Galatas you will see the local stadium of football in your left hand and there you turn right where you go straight ahaid for 300 meters (passing 2 crossroads) you turn left in the climbing road and you continue straight ahead for another 3 kilometers. In the next crossroad you turn right and you continue for 300 meters until you will see the small orthodox church of Panagitsa in your left hand. You continue straight ahead until you find a u turn where you turn left. You continue for another 300 meters until you find another crossroad where you turn left in the climbing road across the mountain. You continue for 500 meters and you turn right in the paved alleyway that leads to our parking area at 1911, country retreat.
