Between Aljezur and Odeceixe, entering the town of Rogil, National highway 120 (Sines – Lagos), turn to the side of the Serra road ( hill side) which is in the corner of the bakery "Pão do Rogil", and when the road ends, turn right towards Carrascalinho. After 1 Km you will find a sign saying “ Monte Velho” and "Monte da Xara", where you should turn left. You will be able to see Monte da Xara after 500 m.
