Faro Airport is about 1 hour from Burgau, mostly on the A22 motorway.
Lisbon Airport is about 3 hours from Burgau, mostly on the A2 motorway.

Getting around
Everything in the village is in walking distance, as is the beach. There is a regular local bus for travel to nearby Lagos and Luz and some other local beaches. Excursions can be booked locally for ZooMarine and waterparks. Boat trips can also be booked locally for dolphin watching, cave/grotto visits.
