How to get there
HOW TO GET THERE AND BACK:
For the intrepid traveller armed with a mobile phone, credit card and bunji cord: take a Velo Bleu! There’s a terminal near the airport,

The new Tram 2 runs from Terminal 2 then 1, where buses leave from. You can either change at Jean-Medecin to the Tram 1, which leaves outside on Avenue Jean-Medecin and take it to « Cathédrale - Vieille Ville » 4 minute walk or stay on the 2 to « Garibaldi » 8 minute walk.
If you need to stretch your legs and are travelling light you can walk into Nice, keep the sea to your right, it takes about 45 minutes, you can enter Old Town through Cours Saleya.

Getting around
Take buses to any of the major Côte d’Azur destinations from stops just steps away from the Swallows’ Nest. For full information, there is a convenient bus info point very near (they give out plans and schedules) The railway station has fast and inexpensive travel around the area, both inland and along the coast east and west. Walking is a delight and a great way to see Nice, and so too is using VeloBleu Nice’s bicycle rental scheme.
