If you are coming via Loch Lomond and The Trossochs take the left turn to Kilmun off the A815, south of Loch Eck and just before you get to Sandbank and the Holy Loch.

If you are using the Western Ferry from Gourock, turn right at Hunter's Quay, and drive along the edge of the loch and past the Holy Loch Marina.Turn right again at the T junction and along the loch through Sandbank. Soon, on your right you will pass a petrol station/shop/diner and just past that is the turning to your right for Kilmun/Strone. Travel along the shore road for a miles, Ardmun is on your left hand side with a gated entrance. Parking is on the roadside.
