Getting around
Your trip will be greatly enhanced by having a car so that you can explore those lovely beach coves all along the coast or by going inland to the lake at Rouqbrunne or further inland to the Verdun Gorge. If visiting St. Tropez though we have found the best way is to take a foot ferry from the Marina at Les Issambres across the Bay to St.Tropez. This saves the drive around and along the peninsular, avoids traffic and is a great way to enter St Tropez itself. There are also ferries that leave regularly from St Maxime that is only 8km further down the road from Les Issambres.
