How to get there
The town of La Tranche sur Mer is approximately a 50-60 minute drive from La Rochelle Airport and 80 minutes from the airport at Nantes. Both airports are served by budget airlines such as Ryanair, FlyBe, EasyJet and Jet2.
Car hire is available at both airports.
If you are binging your own car with you, then St Malo is the closest of the northern ferry ports - at only 3.5 hours away. Caen is 4.5 hours away, Cherbourg is 5.5 hours away and Calais is 6.5 hours away.
