How to get there
Short ferry crossing or Eurotunnel - Calais 420 miles, 6-7 hours. Alternatively, you can use a long ferry crossing such as Caen, Cherbourg, Le Havre, or (our favourite) Brittany Ferries to St Malo. This gives you an overnight sailing and a shorter drive, meaning that you arrive at your local area in time for lunch.If you prefer not to drive, there are plenty of local airports to choose from : Poitiers, Bordeaux or La Rochelle.Alternatively, you could take a train - take Eurostar to Lille and transfer to Poitiers. A choice of rental car compoanies exists at all the airports and Poitiers rail station.

Getting around
This is a superb location for transport links. The N10 is only 5 miles away, providing fast access to the A10 autoroute and the Futurescope at Poitiers and an attractive 2 hour drive south to Bordeaux. The coast is a little over an hour to the west and the Dordogne just an hour to the south, using the N10. Airports are at Poitiers, Limoges, Bordeaux and La Rochelle and excellent rail connections from Poitiers (20 minutes). In practice, though, you will probably do as most of our guests do: remain beside the pool!
