The nearest airport to Stoykite is 90km to the north in Bulgaria's second largest city, Plovdiv. The next nearest airport is in the capital city of Sofia, 250km to the north-west.

You can get flights to Sofia from Gatwick (Easyjet), Luton (Easyjet), Heathrow (British Airways, Bulgaria Air), and Manchester (Easyjet).

You can fly to Plovdiv from Stansted (Ryanair).

Several Car Hire firms operate out of Sofia airport (Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty, Choice-rent etc). Alternatively, there are numerous 'Meet and Greet' firms, which you can book online in advance.

If you're not comfortable with driving on the right hand side, another option is to arrange an Airport Transfer to Stoykite (near Pamporovo). Prices are determined by size of car, not number of passengers. A return journey from Plovdiv to Stoykite (approx 1h 45 mins each way) in a minivan should cost about £110. Just book online and you will be met at the airport by your driver carrying a board with your name on. Car hire firms such as 'Motoroads' offer this service.
