Calahonda is situated 35 km from Malaga Airport which has excellent links with most airports in the UK and Europe. British Airways, British Midlands,Iberian Airways, Easy Jet are just some of the airlines which arrive at Malaga every ten minutes in the summer months. From here, car hire can easily be arranged, if not already pre-booked with all the major companies such as Hertz and Avis as well as local Spanish companies being represented in the basement of the airport terminal. There are taxis waiting outside the airport, which will take you to your destination, should you choose not to hire a car. There is a choice of routes to Calahonda either along the coast road where you will see within metres just some of the fabulous beaches en route or along the motor way which gives breath taking views of the mountains and sparkling sea below.
